We are currently looking for a new team member to join our air freight team in Nuremberg as an Airfreight Export Operator.
Location: Nuremberg | Reference Number: 240000A6 | Employment Type: Permanent
Your Responsibilities:
- Independent handling of air freight shipments
- Customs clearance
- Creation of Air Waybills (ABDs)
- Trustful communication with customers, international branches, partners, and agents
- Independent handling of damage claims and complaints
- Preparation of quotations
Your Profile:
- Successfully completed vocational training as a merchant for forwarding and logistics services (m/f/d)
- Further education in hazardous goods handling and training as an air security officer desirable
- Relevant professional experience in the field of air freight export
- Excellent English language skills (both written and spoken)
- Proficiency in using customs programs, e.g., Dakosy
- Flexibility, high commitment, and customer orientation
- Organizational talent, negotiation skills, and teamwork
- Desirable certifications: reliability check and air security training
- Familiarity with TMS Cargowise is a plus
- Experience with automotive customers is desirable
