As the interface to Product Management, Operations and IT, the Business Process Management department is responsible for all sea freight processes.
This includes the implementation, design and continuous improvement of all processes. The aim is to achieve maximum efficiency through standardization, automation and digitalization.
Training and change management are therefore just as much a part of the job as sensitivity in dealing with colleagues in the respective teams.
As a staff unit with a reporting line to the Head of Sea Freight Germany, the team also ensures the sustainability of all changes and thus makes a significant contribution to the development of sea freight at Hellmann in Germany. We are currently undergoing one of the largest transformation projects with the introduction of the new transport management system (TMS) CargoWise One.

» Your tasks:
  • You develop new, innovative and automated solutions to improve process quality and efficiency
  • You are responsible for the analysis, definition and design of requirements and business cases for handover to IT
  • You work closely with all product owners for audits, process reviews, training and governance
  • You are responsible for defining KPIs with all product owners and monitoring their compliance
  • The training & coaching of end users including continuous development of sea freight training content and methodology falls within your area of responsibility
  • You are responsible for project management and support for overarching topics in sea freight, as well as for the support of sea freight reporting for performance and financial data
  • You will work with various stakeholders (e.g. Finance, Sales, HR and others) to define operational and/or overlapping process standards

» Your profile:
  • Successfully completed studies in business administration, (business) informatics, industrial engineering, digital business or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
  • Ideally, you have experience in dealing with the introduction of transport management systems (CargoWise)
  • You are passionate about working on process improvements and digitalization initiatives and have already gained professional experience in the field of process modeling & control
  • Ideally, you have already been able to accompany the implementation of change and improvement processes
  • You understand the interrelationships and process chains, preferably from previous activities in logistics
  • Process- and solution-oriented thinking and acting
  • You are a strong communicator, can convey your knowledge clearly and enjoy working in a team
  • You have an analytical mindset and an independent, structured working style
  • Very good German and English skills round off your profile
