Hellmann expands its Roadfreight location in Polch near Koblenz, in the Rhineland-Palatinate.

At the beginning of November, construction will begin on a state-of-the-art expansion facility covering approx. 2,400 square meters. In a second construction phase, after completion of the hall complex, the expansion of the office space including the renovation of the existing building is also planned. With the expansion to a total of just under 6,000 square meters of handling space, Hellmann is responding to the continuing growth trend of the groupage and direct load product areas in the region.

Hellmann has been represented at the Polch site with a Roadfreight location since 2007. The branch office in the heart of Germany is strategically located due to its ideal transport connections. Over the past decade, daily connections to all neighboring countries have been established to offer customers short transit times and comprehensive Europe-wide solutions. The goal is to enable further strategic growth by expanding the location and to further expand the existing route network.

The expansion of the location will create the conditions for this: For our customers with a further improved service portfolio, especially with regards to connections within Europe.
