Hellmann Americas Management Team Volunteers with Health in the Hood

Family,  Sustainability

The Hellmann Americas management team recently partnered with Health in the Hood, a Miami nonprofit that champions wellness in underserved communities through urban farming, free produce distribution, nutrition education, and community engagement. We pride ourselves on being an active part of the communities we serve and are committed to fostering healthy, thriving communities.

Americas Management Giving Back

We were inspired by the mission and impact of Health in the Hood. The organization has grown to nine urban farms and distributed over 8,000 pounds of fresh produce to the local communities. Their work highlights the importance of education, community building, and business investments in creating environments where healthy choices are accessible for all.

Harvesting Vegetables

Our team participated in various activities, including planting and harvesting vegetables. We also discovered the surprising benefits of talking to plants—a practice that not only boosts their growth but also promotes well-being. This experience serves as a reminder that Relationship Matters in every aspect of our lives, whether it's nurturing plants or fostering connections with clients in the business world.

Volunteering with Health in the Hood was a fulfilling experience that strengthened our commitment to supporting local initiatives. We look forward to continuing to make a positive impact in our communities. Together, we can foster healthier and more sustainable futures for everyone!
