Hellmann receives Otto Heinemann Award for the compatibility of work and care

Hellmann, a family-owned company founded 150 years ago, convinced the award’s panel judges with its concept, which is as much focused on prevention as it is proactive:  At Hellmann, the compatibility of family and career has always been firmly anchored in its corporate philosophy and is a central component of its HR strategy.  Particularly in light of demographic developments, the company has developed a wide range of support systems for its employees in recent years. These extend to not only caring for senior citizens, but also for children with disabilities. In addition to flexible working hours and far-reaching telecommuting arrangements, Hellmann Germany grants additional vacation days for the care of relatives and offers numerous counseling services as well as emergency care specifically for impaired children.
