Lena Haartje: Hello, my name is Lena Haartje, and I have been with Hellmann Worldwide Logistics since the summer of 2018. I initially completed a dual study program here and have been working in the Smart Solutions area since 2021. As a Specialist Smart Solutions, I am responsible for SmartAir! and Smart QR. My tasks range from sales and customer support to marketing and legal issues. In my free time, I am passionate about playing handball and recently decided to pursue a part-time master's degree to further develop myself personally and professionally.

Felix Thiel: Hello, I am Felix Thiel. As the Senior Sustainability Manager & ESG Reporting at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, I am deeply committed to advancing our company's sustainability initiatives and ensuring that our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting is comprehensive and transparent. With 15 years of experience in the field, I've cultivated a passion for green and social innovations, driving me to continuously seek ways to enhance the positive impact of our operations. My goal is to ensure that we remain at the forefront of sustainable logistics solutions, setting an example within the industry. Outside of my professional responsibilities, I am a devoted father and love spending quality time with my family. On weekends, I embrace my adventurous side, exploring the outdoors and seeking new experiences that fuel my passion for sustainability in both my personal and professional life.

Your are jointly presenting in an international webinar on the topic: SmartAir! and Sustainability at Hellmann. What is it about, and who should definitely tune in?

Felix, why are transparent transport emissions so important for the climate strategy?

Felix Thiel: Transparent transport emissions are a crucial factor in achieving our climate goals. They allow us to understand exactly where emissions occur and how we can efficiently reduce them. In the context of CSRD/ESRS, this data is essential as it helps us meet legal requirements while demonstrating our commitment to sustainability and climate protection. Through transparency, we can also better inform our customers and work together on sustainable solutions.
