The Logistics & Transport Awards both honor past successes and recognize future strategies of logistics and supply chain companies across the region. Companies are invited to nominate people, project and facilities in 18 different categories, across a wide range of sectors – from transportation, freight and warehousing, to e-commerce, supply chain and technology. Entries are then judged by a carefully selected panel of industry experts.

The ceremony took place at a gala dinner at a five-star hotel and was the perfect occasion for celebration, as well as an important networking opportunity. Winners received a commemorative trophy and extensive print and online coverage of their success in Logistics News ME.

We would like to congratulate our very own Mr. Madhav Kurup, Regional CEO Hellmann MESA (Middle East & South Asia), who was awarded "CEO of the Year". When Madhav Kurup started, Hellmann had around 100 employees in the region, and today we have more than 2000! As a visionary and natural born leader, he has always sought out the pain-points our industry faces and strives to create solutions to them.  His down to earth nature has helped him to create the right profile for the industry in the region, attracting the interest of more young people.

Hellmann was also awarded "Cold Chain Provider of the Year", which we were very proud to accept. Hellmann, and in particular in the Middle East, has a real commitment to the healthcare industry, demonstrated by our development of our 10,020 m² (215,500 ft²) facility, fitted with temperature and humidity-controlled storage areas.
