New Supply Partnership with 2SAN

Australia, like the rest of the world, is becoming more reliant on the use of Rapid Antigen Tests (RATs). As Covid-19 close contact rules are adjusted, for many of us testing is becoming part of everyday life. This has seen the demand for testing kits, across all industries, continue its exponential rise.

In February, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics Contract Logistics became the primary service provider for 2SAN – one of Australia’s largest suppliers of RATs. For the past months we have successfully worked in supply partnership to distribute testing kits across the country.

From the Bankstown site in Sydney and our Laverton warehouse in Melbourne, Hellmann has processed over 300 shipments, collected over 200 airfreight units deliveries, deconsolidated cartons and distributed pallets to successfully move more than 90 million testing kits directly to customers in need, including New South Wales Health, Victoria Health, and the New South Wales Education Department.

The demand for RATs is only set to increase over the next few months, as winter delivers the combined corona and flu seasons.

Hellmann is also working on the next stage of the partnership with 2SAN, taking it from a local level to a global one, as supply demand increases around the world. This will include charter flights, third-party logistics, distribution and customs clearance.
