We are pleased to announce that Olivier Basset has joined the Hellmann Family on 1st of March 2021 as Sales Manager France. Olivier will be based in our new office we have opened in January 2021 in Nantes, France.

Before he started his professional career in the logistics industry, Olivier Basset lived in Argentina, Spain, Ireland, and Chile - working at Renault in Sales and Marketing.

He entered the logistics sector as a Sales Executive with Geodis and DSV, and also worked as Key Account Manager at Gefco in the last five years. In this role, he was responsible for Regional and also National account development in France.

Olivier has decided to move to Hellmann France with high ambitions to grow the team and build successful and fruitful customer relationships for the country and the rest of Europe.

Background:

At the beginning of September 2019, Hellmann opened its first own air and sea freight branch in France. With this forward-looking investment, Hellmann closed a gap in its European network after the termination of the cooperation with Heppner for air and sea freight.

The first Hellmann branch in France is located in Villepinte, not far from Charles de Gaulle Airport, Paris. From here, the French network is being expanded in order to continuously strengthen our market position. Thus, in January 2021, a second branch has been opened in Nantes.

Our focus is on existing multinational customers who are already working with us in other parts of the world and who have indicated a need for a location in France. In addition, we intend to increasingly win local, medium-sized customers as well.
