Mazda Motor Logistics Europe has recently entered into a long-term partnership with Night Star Express. As part of the cooperation which has been in place since July 1, 2019, the night distributor delivers an average of 500 shipments per day from Maasmechelen, Belgium to Mazda dealers throughout Germany. With its logistics center in Willebroek, Belgium, Mazda Motor Logistics Europe has decided to partner with the NSE network to further improve service for its German dealer network, which now reliably delivers "Next Day" before 8 a.m.

Grand Opening in `s-Heerenberg

On September 28, 2019, the Night Star Express in s'Heerenberg, the Netherlands, inaugurated its new facility after just under 1 year of construction. In addition to the existing halls, around 7,100 m² of storage and transshipment space have been created on the 22,000 m² site. With 894 solar panels on the roof and a power output of 236,000 kWh fed into the grid, the building can be operated completely CO2-neutral.

The Night Star Express reacted to the increased volume of night deliveries by expanding the existing property. The NSE can thus further expand its strategic location advantage directly on the German-Dutch border and strengthen its leading market position as the only overnight express service provider in the Lower Rhine region. The company estimates medium-term growth forecasts for the NSE site of up to 40 % by 2025.
