13,000 visitors and more than 750 exhibitors from 110 countries came to the Miami Beach Convention Center for four days of networking, sourcing and education at the biggest global industry gathering since 2019.

‍Altogether six Sales colleagues from the Hamburg and Miami offices represented Hellmann Worldwide Logistics with their own booth to the important American market as well as to over 80 leading cruise lines.

The atmosphere was enthusiastic as old relationships with customers, port agents and suppliers were revived and strengthened.

“It was great to finally come together as an industry with a positive outlook for the future of cruising. The Seatrade this year showed that we are a resilient community that is excited to be back on the water!”

However, the event proved to be a great way to make new connections as well: The colleagues at the Hellmann booth were approached by a new customer that had customs-related troubles getting an important shipment of printed material from Great Britain to Monaco, where they were urgently needed for a ship christening. Without much ado, the teams from Hamburg and the UK quickly took care of the issue and so the pallet was delivered in Monaco last week just in time for the christening of the ship. This shows great collaborating skills and made a new customer, as well as the cruise line very happy!
